Biographical Data

Harvey Daiho Hilbert

Harvey Daiho Hilbert studied Drawing and Composition at the University of Miami before moving on to studies in Literature and later, Social Work. He uses many mediums including acrylic paint, photography, pen and ink, charcoal, pastels, and Chinese Brush Work to produce his art. Daiho, an ordained Zen monk, is interested in producing art that reflects his practice to connect with Everything That Is. Several of his pieces were selected for showing at the Southwestern Jewish Art Show in Las Cruces, NM. His work has exhibited twice at the Mesquite Art Gallery in Las Cruces. Selected pieces of his work are on display at Cafe de Mesilla just off the plaza in Mesilla, NM.
